Town Hall Meetings
Ongoing town hall meetings will take place in the near future. Some of these will be in person, while others will be held virtually. These meetings will be open to the public, to solicit positive comments, and to collect feedback from the community on suggestions for improving the Village of Oak Park Police Department.

Race Equity Survey
Communities across the United States are calling for renewed and intentional efforts to address diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) issues and concerns. The Village of Oak Park recognizes the critical nature of DEI, and values the opportunity to collaborate and engage with the community in conversations that advance and improve DEI in Oak Park. This survey seeks to collect vital community feedback regarding DEI areas that relate directly to public safety and the Oak Park Police Department. This project is expected to take about nine months to complete. The current timeline indicates project completion in August of 2022.

The final report will be a public document and it will be posted on this site, as well as any other public locations the Village may choose.
